OVERVIEW
THE DISNEYLAND RESORT EXPANSION
The Disneyland Resort project will contribute $25 million in direct revenue each year to the City of Anaheim, $10 million annually to Orange County, and $35 million annually to the State of California.
Residents and tourists will have the benefit of a $1.4 billion investment by Disney, which includes Disney's California Adventure, a new theme park; includes The Disneyland Center, a new retail, dining, and entertainment center; and includes The Grand Californian, a new 750-room deluxe resort hotel.
ANAHEIM RESORT DISTRICT IMPROVEMENTS
The improvements require no new taxes for local residents and instead will be paid by existing hotel room fees (TOT) from the Anaheim Resort Area as well as The Disneyland Resort expansion projects.
Improvements to Surrounding Roadways and Signage
Walnut Street will be redesigned and improved between The Disneyland Resort and adjacent residential communities.
As envisioned, Katella Avenue will be transformed by dramatic landscaping and uniform signage.
